With the automation technology by OAS, our portfolio in the field of process control technology becomes complete. Both, in the planning process and in implementation and commissioning of process automation, our system specialists use their long-term experience gained in the field, e.g. in the industries of paints and varnishes, construction materials, chemistry, and food.

Efficient data flows

In the field of electrical engineering, we use the

ECAD system EPLAN.

Our design engineers, use own standard macros and modules to guarantee efficient and uniform planning as desired by the customer. Should applicable building regulations require this, we also work with external macros and modules.

Supplementary software interfaces

provide for the data transmission from object lists to EPLAN and data communication with our own process control system pronto.

Transparent programming standards

PLC programming

is based on a binding performance standard and complies with IEC-1131. This reduces the programming expenditure to a minimum and leads to structured computer programmes, which can be serviced by every hotline colleague.

Programming and project engineering

in pronto are object-oriented and show a high degree of automation, which virtually eliminates common copy and jumper faults.

Integration of existing automation systems

As a process control system for recipe control and visualisation, pronto – the process control system developed by OAS – is preferred. This is subject to continuous development and, therefore, always provides state-of-the-art features. Of course, we allow for the ideas of our customers regarding automation. Preferably, we use SIEMENS SIMATIC control systems and the TIA Portal.

Switchgear installations ready for use & in-process inspection

The OAS switchgear engineering department completely assembles switch and control cabinets according to the specifications by the design department and tests them when they are ready for operation – this allows for modifications during order processing, which can be handled as fast as possible with your special project in mind. Furthermore, the own in-process inspection ensures that all requirements by the customer and tests required by law have been realised as ordered. OAS customers get the opportunity to inspect the completely tested switch and control cabinets within the scope of a factory approval.

Assembly and consistent documentation

Upon delivery of the switch cabinets, a site manager by OAS supervises the electrical installation and installation in general. Installation itself is done by workforce of local companies or, upon request, by our team for electrical installation. When electrical installation is complete, any required test records are prepared before commissioning and stored with the documentation.

Qualified commissioning

OAS employees carry out commissioning in a qualified way – starting with a sense of rotation and signal test, through the adjustment and calibration of measuring points, ending with the cold performance test followed by a product run. In principle, the results are always recorded in corresponding logs and discussed and agreed with our customer. In this way, it is not only a high quality degree that we can guarantee, but also high availability and reliability of the line.
