We are modernising the yard management system at the Cologne headquarters of an internationally active industrial service provider. The modernisation includes the renewal of the weighing technology of the existing truck scales and the delivery of OAS Logistic Terminals for the self-service weighing of vehicles by the drivers. The system is controlled by our proven yard management software logis.
Self-operated weighing of trucks by drivers
The drivers can register and weigh themselves without any further personnel input from our customer and are then automatically handed the necessary documents directly via the terminal. For interaction with the driver, the OAS self-service terminal has, among other things, an integrated touch monitor and multilingual user guidance. The automated document output is done via an integrated DIN A4 laser printer. With the modernisation of the yard management, the effectiveness in the handling of logistical processes increases considerably.
