For a producer of poultry meat in north-west Germany, we are supplying a comprehensive yard management system for the optimisation, automation and digitalisation of plant logistics processes.
The yard management system consists of our central yard management software logis, which will bring together all yard logistics information in future and from which the lorry traffic on the company premises will be controlled.
In future, lorry drivers will be able to register themselves using our OAS Logistic Terminals. In addition to a bright touchscreen display, these terminals include laser printers and document scanners for issuing and recording delivery documents as well as RFID responders for identification.
As part of the implementation of our OAS Yard Management System, the existing truck scales are also being modernised. The scales are connected directly to our logis yard management software via our calibratable weighing electronics wcon. The material flows are recorded directly via interfaces to the higher-level merchandise management system. A fully automated system of traffic lights, position sensors and cameras is used to effectively manage lorry traffic on the company premises.
