Yard Management System for globally active Irish manufacturer of facade systems

We are implementing a yard management system for a globally operating Irish manufacturer of facade cladding systems at its northern German site. The aim of the project is the fundamental automation of the existing plant logistics processes for the efficient handling of transports, while at the same time increasing occupational safety and reducing the workload of the workforce.

In order to achieve this goal, an individual plant logistics concept was developed in advance together with our customer, which will also serve as a template for further roll-out projects in the group of companies in the future.

Smooth process handling with Yard Management System logis


From registration and controlled entry, to loading and unloading, to driving out of the plant, all logistical processes will in future be controlled by our Yard Management System logis. Self-operated processing by the driving personnel is carried out via various self-service terminals, barrier systems and traffic lights. The company's own vehicles, such as forklift trucks for loading and unloading, are integrated into the ongoing processes in real time via mobile devices. The system is rounded off with bidirectional communication with the customer's ERP system SAP.
