We are modernising the weighing systems and implementing a yard management system for a renowned Bavarian chemical company at its production site in Baden-Württemberg. The underground salt mine is one of the most traditional and at the same time most modern salt mines in Germany. Rock salt is mined here as industrial salt and road salt.
Various weighing systems for rail scales, truck scales and belt scales are being modernised above and below ground in order to be able to reliably record the material flows in the operating process. To ensure efficient processing, a self-service operation consisting of various OAS self-service terminals and our wcon remote displays will also be installed. Various camera systems are used to ensure reliable documentation of the weighing processes at the various truck scales.
Our logis yard management software controls the logistics processes on the premises in the background. It enables largely automated and self-service operations and relieves the employees on site of time-consuming routine tasks. The consistently digital process management and data exchange with the higher-level systems (ERP) also increase the process reliability of the workflows.
