We are equipping three production plants with an update of the pronto production control system for a producer of mineral building materials in Lower Saxony. Our pronto process control system has been in reliable use in this customer's production plants for several years, which is why an update to the latest version of our production control system is now to be carried out.
The update includes several mixing plants, a plasterboard plant as well as another mixing plant, a combined transport plant and a palletising plant. The PLC programming will also be updated in this context. The existing MMCS weighing and dosing electronics will be replaced by modern weighing transmitters. In future, communication with the PLC, in which the MMCS software is modelled, will take place via Profibus. This will allow remote access for parameterisation, analysis and adjustment of the scales. The update of the pronto production control system will also include an upgrade of the underlying IT infrastructure consisting of servers and various industrial PCs with touch displays for operating the system within production.
