We are modernising the production control system for an established German construction chemicals manufacturer at its production site in southern Lower Saxony. In future, all production processes in powder production will be controlled via our pronto process control system.
In addition to the actual plant control system, other components such as bagging machines, palletisers and winders will also be integrated into the new production control system via Ethernet/ProfiBus or I/O coupling. The weighing electronics of the existing dosing scales will also be modernised in this context.
From the delivery and batch tracking of the raw materials, through material management, recipe management and dosing to the bagging and storage of the finished goods, our pronto process control system will control all production processes in the plant as an MES and SCADA system in future. Our control solution is supplemented by various industrial panel PCs within production for process-reliable control and documentation of manual additions. The relevant key production figures are transmitted directly to the customer's ERP system via an interface. As part of the modernisation, we also take on the reprogramming of all PLC units.
