We are modernising the plant control and process visualisation of another large biogas plant for a British biogas plant operator. In future, the plant control system will be visualised via our pronto MES. This measure will significantly shorten the process sequence, enabling the plant to be operated more efficiently. In addition, the control technology will be replaced by a new PLC control system. This sustainably increases process reliability while reducing operating costs.
Standardised processes through technical standardisation
The modernisation project is one in a series of various plant modernisations we have carried out for this operator. Our pronto process control system is already being used at other company sites. This means that processes and displays that have already been designed can be adopted and the technical processes standardised. The process visualisation implemented with pronto allows transparent monitoring of ongoing production. Any faults that occur can be recognised immediately and errors can be rectified quickly.
