We are modernising the yard management system for the efficient handling of truck logistics at the headquarters of a cement producer operating throughout Germany in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The modernisation includes both the integrated hardware components consisting of the self-service terminals for efficient and self-service handling of truck traffic and an upgrade of the underlying logis yard management software from OAS, which is already being used successfully.
For this purpose, the existing terminals will be upgraded with the latest, modern weighing technology components and adapted to the company's new process requirements. Due to their modular design, OAS Logitic terminals remain expandable over their entire life cycle and can therefore be continuously upgraded. This allows an economical and resource-saving hardware update without having to replace the terminal itself. The software upgrade of the Yard Management Software logis terminal hardware can then be carried out efficiently and without major downtime.
