We are expanding the production plant at the Hessian headquarters of an established German manufacturer of paints and varnishes. The expansion of the plant for water-based and solvent-based products includes an additional mixing plant with two dissolvers as well as a stainless steel tank farm for polymers.
An existing dosing station will be integrated into the extension to store the dry materials. Conveying takes place by means of a suction conveyor system and screw conveyors. The cleaning and hygiene concept includes a newly installed high-pressure cleaning system, a biocide spraying system and an OAS water lock to protect against microbiological contamination.
The system is controlled by our pronto production control system. pronto combines a powerful process visualisation system for operating and monitoring (SCADA) with a system for controlling the process and production management level (MES). On the MES side, it focuses on the control and management of batch-oriented processes and is also optimised for weighing tasks.
It is designed in accordance with ATEX guidelines. In addition to planning and mechanical assembly, OAS also takes care of pipework construction, electrical installations and system control.
