We are implementing a comprehensive modernisation project for an existing production facility in North Rhine-Westphalia for a renowned German manufacturer of CO2-neutral building materials.
In addition to the renewal of the plant control system, the project also includes the modernisation of the weighing technology and the conversion of an existing silo into an independent silo system.
As part of the control system modernisation, the latest version of our pronto production control system will be implemented and integrated into the existing process landscape. At the same time, we are modernising the entire IT hardware consisting of the primary and standby server. The modernisation of the weighing technology includes the replacement of the previous weighing electronics with the latest PLC-based weighing transmitters. Various weighing terminals for self-operated direct lorry loading will also be replaced and integrated into the pronto production control system.
The existing silo, which was previously connected to a system, will be converted into an autonomous silo system as part of the modernisation. Among other things, two injection lines and a lorry docking station will be added and the dosing units will be renewed so that it can be operated as an independent silo system in future.
