As part of an expansion of the production site of a renowned North German manufacturer of construction chemicals, we are supplying a big bag filling station for filling finished goods.
The big bag filling station is being added to an existing production plant as an extension. The production material is automatically fed into the filling station via screw conveyors. The different building materials (cement, plasters, etc.) are dosed via a 2500 litre container scale. In this way, up to 20 big bags can be filled per hour.
The system is controlled via the existing pronto production control system. For this purpose, the additional components were integrated into the MES-system and the visualisation was expanded.
