Bremen, 17 December 2014 – In close cooperation with industry and agriculture, OAS AG has developed a truck scales management system to easily record and process all relevant weighing data. Certainly, this is based on a good pair of truck scales. The truck scales designed by OAS especially for the agricultural sector provides the following advantages:
- no errors in weighing due to extra wide vehicles
- no soiling of the scales pit
Moreover, it is possible to render own work and, thus, save money. But good scales require a smart and consistent system. The truck scales management wcon by OAS AG is a modular system and not only allows for easy expansion but also for a multitude of applications. In the industry, the system is used e.g. from the opening of the plant gate, including access control and safety instructions, up to the quality assurance by sampling and recording of analysis values. But the system provides many more features around a pair of truck scales, such as a position check during weighing, video surveillance, or printing and sending (e.g. by e-mail) of weighing notes.
The use of indoor and outdoor wcon self-service terminals allows the driver to help himself – in a rapid and reliable manner! The operating party can individually adjust the representation of operating sequences, texts, and pictures, and the driver is guided safely through the system by single-step operation. Moreover, the user interface is multi-lingual and the driver can easily select the desired language.
The OAS truck scales management reduces the processing expenditure and the lead times through an individual configuration of the sequences at the truck scales and, therefore, it is not only the industry, which is interested in it. The additional mobile application – Wcon Mobile – provides for quick identification of the driver or the vehicle and, thus, for easy weighing of the vehicle in self-service while the driver has not to get out of the cab. At the same time the well-arranged user interface reduces the risk of wrong inputs to a minimum. Both, the mobile application and the wcon terminals, boost the availability and allow safe 24/7 operation.
The range of OAS products also includes the data management system e:maxx Biogas, which has been developed especially for the needs of the biogas industry. Using this branch solution you may document flow of materials in compliance with the German directive on marketing and transport of commercial fertiliser (WDüngV), manage allotments of fermenting substrates, and implement harvesting logistics system, as well as prepare credit notes and invoices – all taking the dry matter content (DM) into account. Certainly, the system can be used for linked plants across locations, as well.
