With effect from 1 March 2021, the Supervisory Board of OAS AG appointed Senator (ret.) Martin Günthner to the post of the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors. As a member of the Board of Directors, he is responsible for the areas of strategic corporate development and new markets, which are important for the company. At the same time, he is responsible for communication.
Otto Anton Schwimmbeck, the company founder and Chairman of the Board of OAS AG, explains: "I am pleased to be able to gain in Martin Günthner a competent leader for OAS AG. With Martin Günthner, we are counting on being able to grow further and continue the strong development of the past years. He ideally complements our management team."
Martin Günthner states that he is looking forward to the new challenge within a competent Board of Directors. "OAS is one of the many owner-operated hidden champions in Bremen with highly committed employees."
In the last two years already, OAS AG has steadily expanded its powerful team and there are now 250 employees within the group of companies working at the locations in Bremen, Augsburg, Berlin, and Bochum. The reason for this is the growing business areas. Especially the field of yard management flourishes and thus drives the positive business development forward.
For almost 40 years, the OAS AG with headquarters in Bremen has been an ever growing company.
